Ashleigh Porter – General Manager

Ashleigh joined AIS in 2014 following the acquisition of AIS by BCI Media Group. Working as a liaison between AIS and BCI Media Group, Ashleigh was instrumental in the integration of the two businesses and in July 2016 was appointed General Manager of AIS, taking responsibility of all business operations across Australia and New Zealand.

During Ashleigh’s time working at BCI Media Group, she gained a wealth of experience in both the architectural and construction industries having worked as an Information Researcher, Sales Manager and Manager for BCI Academy. Being one of the founders of BCI Academy, the learning and development arm of the business, Ashleigh has developed specification-training programs across Australia, New Zealand and Asia and has personally trained over 3,000 construction sales professionals across hundreds of businesses, helping them to optimise relationships within the construction and architectural industries.

Shannan Golding – Assistant Manager ANZ/VIC State Manager

Shannan Golding joined AIS in 2009 as VIC Assistant State Manager where she was responsible for the graphic design and marketing for Victoria for iFlex and Equinox events as well as worked as the librarian at some of the largest firms in Melbourne including Woods Bagot, Bruce Henderson and Architectus. She was then appointed AIS VIC State Manger in 2011 and Account manages all Victorian suppliers and Architectural practices as well as looks after the event management and sales of Equinox in Melbourne, Perth, Hobart and Auckland and most recently CPD events in-house at firms across Melbourne. As of July 2016, Shannan is now Assistant Manager for AIS Australia and New Zealand.

Shannan has a background in graphic design & marketing and has previously worked as an Architectural Specification Representative and Project Manager for a digital print company for 8 years. Shannan has seen the Architectural Specification Industry from all sides and works to help connect, inform and inspire the design community.

Sophie Cadigan – QLD State Manager

As a State Manager, Sophie Cadigan works to continually drive business development activity in Queensland and the Northern Territory. She is responsible for assisting suppliers and manufacturers in creating and cultivating relationships with specifiers by managing CPD workshops, iFlex and Equinox events.

Sophie joined AIS in 2012 as an Administrator where she provided the management team with national event and marketing support.

Sophie has a Bachelors Degree in Urban Development, majoring in Town Planning, and is currently completing a Bachelor of Design majoring in Architecture, providing her with a unique insight into both sides of product specification.

Mika Meadows – NSW Event Coordinator

Mika Meadows joined AIS in September 2016, taking on the role of Event Coordinator for NSW. She is responsible for planning all iFlex events and CPD Presentations with the states active practices, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with AIS’s key stakeholders. She strives to grow activity in NSW, by bringing new practices and suppliers on board, creating and fostering new opportunities for both parties.

Mika graduated from UTS in 2016 with a Bachelor of Management in Events and Leisure, before working on large conferences and incentive trips for global events agency. This brings a unique perspective to AIS and adds to the team dynamic.

Isabela Jankovic – QLD Event Coordinator

Isabela joined AIS as an iFlex host in 2012; it was in 2016 that she acquired the position of Events Coordinator for QLD. It is her experience in retail that allows her to successfully manage current members and practice coordinators as well as develop new relationships with architectural practices, members and specifiers. Creating and building on these relationships is a feature she likes to focus on.

Isabela completed her Bachelor of Business majoring in Business Management and Events Management at Griffith University in 2013. Both aspects of this degree provide a great foundation that allows her to effectively plan and execute all relevant AIS iFlex & CPD events.

Kei Ota – Marketing Executive

As a Marketing Executive, Kei is responsible for developing a range of marketing collaterals to support AIS business development team. Prior to joining AIS in 2016, he has held key marketing roles with an internationally recognised brand for over 5 years. Kei brings experience and knowledge from various industries in product design, manufacturing and education.

Kei has a Bachelor degree in Design, majoring in Industrial Technology, and an additional degree in Education, providing him with a unique insight into areas of design innovation and product/material technology.
